Erica Wang to attend anger management class for hitting chef with a watch

NEW YORK - Todd English's former fiancee is headed for anger-management class after being charged with hitting the celebrity chef with a metal wristwatch in New York City.

A New York judge agreed Thursday to close Erica Wang's assault case without prison time or probation if she completes the anger-management program and 10 hours of community service.

Police say Wang gave English a black eye during an argument Sept. 14. He needed seven stitches.
